First visit
We come out, measure up and talk through what you want and what the building will actually allow. Usually an hour, always free.
Written quote
An itemised quote broken down by trade and stage, with a clear list of what is included and what is not. No verbal figures.
Drawings and approvals
Where you need them, we bring in our architect and structural engineer and handle building control and planning on your behalf.
Useful to know
Is the quote really free?
Yes, including the site visit and the measure-up. We only charge if you ask us to produce drawings or structural calculations before you have appointed us.
Do you ask for money up front?
No deposit to hold a date. Payments are staged against completed work, set out in the quote before you sign anything.
Are you insured?
Yes — public liability and employer's liability cover. We send the certificates over with the quote without being asked.
Can you work to an architect's drawings?
Of course. Send the drawings with your enquiry and we will price from them directly.
